General Mathematical Talks

I have given several non-specialist seminars at the Univerisity of Leeds including on Concrete Incompleteness, Pick’s Theorem and Ehrhart Polynomials [pdf], Alternating Knots, Groups Of Finite Morley Rank, o-minimality, and Hilbert’s 17th Problem. For talks to non-University audiences, see my Speaking page.

Teaching

I have been lecturing at the University of Leeds, 2011-2012, giving the first year mathematicians an Introduction to Geometry

I also hold a PGCE (QTS) in secondary mathematics, I’ve coached a student for UKMT competitions, and have taught lessons and one-off masterclasses at schools around Yorkshire.
